| Dr. Benjamin C. Garrett |
| I recently had the
pleasure of meeting Dr. Benjamin C. Garrett face-to-face in our Nation's
Capital, Washington, D.C. Dr. Garrett is one of only two Senior Scientists at
the FBI's Weapons of Mass Destruction forensic lab at Quantico, Virginia. He
has written the introduction to The Flight of the Hog Wild, and he is
also a consultant. Although Dr. Garrett's expertise in nuclear, biological and chemical weapons takes him to the far reaches of the globe on a moment's notice, he is also an historian. His book, Historical Dictionary of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare, exemplifies his encyclopedic knowledge of the subject. Dr. Garrett and I met on October 2, 2010 at the Naval Memorial, across from the National Archive and Records Administration. After a lengthy meeting, I toured the city and returned home by train via the magnificant Union Station. The photos (below) were taken during a very rewarding visit to Washington, D.C. |
